In Tahiti and Moorea, the conditions for kitesurfing are simply ideal: crystal-clear waters, steady winds, and spectacular scenery. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, these islands offer the perfect spots to indulge your passion. Get ready to glide across ultra-flat waters, let the wind carry you away, and enjoy a unique experience between sky and sea. Discover the best spots to take to the skies!

The best time to take your wing out: From June to September

TAHITI – Motu Martin: spot in Mahina

Head to the east coast of Tahiti, to Mahina, just 20-30 minutes from Papeete. Facing the black sand beach of Hitimahana lies a little gem: Motu Martin, an islet that naturally protects the lagoon from the current and waves. The result? A flat, safe body of water that’s perfect for learning or practicing freestyle.

There, you will always find someone to help you launch your kite or discuss the wind direction with you.

If you come to ride alone, remember to bring a repair kit for your wing: there is no equipment on site.

For those who wish to purchase their equipment directly in Tahiti, head to The Board House store in Papeete: Board House Tahiti

MOOREA – Spot in Haapiti
