Uravena, the thrash metal band released their album, entitled Moana, in 2023.

Some of the founding members were pioneers of Polynesian metal.

The experience and talent of these founding members have enabled Uravena to become a leading band in the world of Polynesian metal. The band helped bring this musical genre to the mainstream and inspired many other bands to get into metal music.
